A chatbot for everyone without a support department.
Helpsy learns from your website, your FAQs and your documents, and answers your visitors' questions with them — around the clock and in practically any language. Built in Frankfurt, run in Europe.
Frankfurt am Main · sole trader
- Since 2026
- up and running
- 100
- questions a month for free, no credit card
- 90 days
- then conversations delete themselves
- Almost any language
- the bot replies in whatever language the question came in
It began with a fairly ordinary observation.
Nearly every business works the same way: the enquiry arrives at half past nine in the evening, it gets read the next morning, and by the time anyone replies the customer has bought elsewhere. Not out of negligence — there simply was nobody there.
Tools there were plenty of, but they rarely fitted. Either toys that invent whatever they do not know after three sentences, or systems built for large support departments, neither meant for nor affordable by a business with five people.
Helpsy is an attempt to put something sensible in between: a chatbot that answers from your own content, sits on your website within minutes, and has a price that still holds when things get busy.
- The beginning
The first line of code. A prototype, built to find out whether the idea holds up.
- The platform
Accounts, plans, invoices and the widget that puts the bot on any website.
- To Europe
Language model and servers have been in the EU ever since. With a data processing agreement and a right of withdrawal it becomes a product you can buy.
- New tricks
The bot offers appointments, takes contact details, and on the paid plans refreshes its own knowledge.
- The consulting
Look at the processes first, then decide what is worth automating — surprisingly often the answer is not a chatbot.
Four decisions that are not up for negotiation.
Europe, no asterisk
The language model runs in the EU, conversations delete themselves after 90 days, and none of it is used to train AI models.
A price that holds
AI costs are part of the plan. No credits that melt at different speeds depending on the model, no extra bill at the end of the month, cancellable monthly.
Honest beats invented
Answers come from your content. Where there is nothing, the bot does not guess — it says so, and offers to take contact details.
Short paths
No ticket system and no first level: a question goes straight to the person who wrote the code, and is usually answered the same or the next working day.
When Helpsy is not the right fit.
No product fits everywhere. Three cases where the effort probably is not worth it — better read now than discovered later.
When a human should answer
Helpsy does not hand over to a person in the chat. When the bot gets stuck it takes contact details or offers an appointment, and that is that.
When the website says little
The bot knows as much as your content does. If that is three sentences, adding a few FAQs or a document first will help more.
When it has to be a corporation
Behind Helpsy is a sole trader. For a tender that requires a large vendor this is the wrong address — and that is better said up front.
One person, no sales team.

Karim Benziane
Full-stack developer from Frankfurt
I am Karim Benziane. Helpsy is made at my desk — code, operations, invoices and the reply to your email all come from the same person. That has limits, and they are listed above. It also means nobody has to check with anyone first.
- Trained as a certified application developer, over six years building and running web applications.
- Most recently senior developer for Microsoft Azure and AI integrations in client projects.
- Helped build GA-Lotse, the case software for the Frankfurt public health authority — recording how the office actually worked and turning it into requirements. Exactly the work this engagement starts with.
- Built and runs helpsy.ai single-handed: language model in the EU, GDPR-compliant, deletion after 90 days, billing, WordPress plugin.
- Consulting in German, English and Italian.
I work alone, and I say so: you get no assigned project manager, you work directly with the developer. If you want twenty sites converted at once, a large agency will serve you better.
Two offerings, one goal.

For everything bigger than a chatbot: recording where the hours go in your business, and working out what is worth automating.
